Unions are useless for all reasons other than to complain. They also do the exact opposite of what they claim to do. they claim to be "a friend of the worker" trying make the working class happier. They demand more pay, better work conditions, or something similar, therefore, if the companies comply, they must spend more, which means they must charge more for their product. And when unions get their way enough, no one will use that company anymore, and then that company must either lay off most of its workers, or completely shut down. either way, the workers lose, and because the unions just complain and complain until they get their way. it's childish, really.
